Vision Travel, Direct Travel and ATPI form global organization

Vision Travel will continue to operate in Canada under its existing brand

Toronto/Montreal/Denver—Direct Travel, a provider of corporate travel management services, announced that the company, along with Vision Travel, has joined travel management company ATPI to form Direct ATPI Global Travel.

This new brand creates a global organization providing corporate travel solutions to mid-market corporations with a presence in North America and elsewhere in the world, the companies said.

The union was solidified through reciprocal, equal investments between both companies.

A joint governing board and leadership structure has begun coordinating operations, maximizing potential and ensuring seamless service to multinational corporate clients. Vision Travel’s Brian Robertson will sit on this board. Direct Travel will continue to operate under its existing brand in the US, and Vision Travel will similarly operate in Canada under its existing brand. Vision Travel, which joined forces with Direct Travel earlier this year, will continue under the leadership of Brian Robertson and Joel Ostrov. ATPI will operate as such in its global locations and will continue to run its specialized Sports Events and Energy and Shipping divisions separately.

Together, Vision Travel, Direct Travel and ATPI represent over $7 billion in sales, having 160+ locations in more than 50 countries, and draw upon over 4,500 team members worldwide to service clients.

Direct ATPI Global Travel offers high-touch service with control and operational ownership in every market.

The alignment of technology platforms will integrate global products in the area of profile databases, travel data reporting, safety and security programs and travel portals, the companies said.
