TORONTO—IMP Group Ltd said it has bought Image Air Charter Ltd, a company specialized in executive travel. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Toronto-based Image Air has close to 60 employees and manages a fleet of 20 aircraft. The deal builds on IMP’s Execaire division, which offers a range of corporate aircraft services including management, charters and technical services.
IMP, through its division Execaire, is a corporate aircraft company that has managed, maintained, and operated aircraft for over 48 years. Execaire, with operations across the country, will now serve clients with over 290 employees and a managed fleet of 53 aircraft.
“The acquisition of Image Air will serve to enhance Execaire’s already outstanding charter service and aircraft management services,” said Michael Fedele, Execaire vice-president and general manager.
Halifax-based IMP Group holds a broad portfolio of investments in businesses including aerospace, health care and real estate.
