TORONTO: Ontario’s environmentally conscious car-buying elite were treated this week to a first drive of the car they have signed up to buy, the Fisker Karma. The luxury, four-door Karma Sedan boasts 403bhp (300kW) and gets 100mpg.

The event was held at The Shops at Don Mills by the Dilawri Group of Companies which owns and operates 40 automotive dealerships throughout Canada, including Fisker of Toronto. At the invitation-only event, Dilawri Group of Companies principal Kap Dilawri said: “The Fisker Karma is opening up an entirely new category—luxury EV’s with extended range (EVer)—in the Canadian market and we’re delighted to be able to give deposit holders a taste of their new cars.”

Fisker Automotive is an American car company, founded in 2007, committed to producing electric vehicles with extended range (EVer) that deliver uncompromised responsible luxury.  The Fisker Karma Sedan is the world’s first premium electric plug-in hybrid representing the company’s belief that environmentally conscious cars need not sacrifice passion, style, or performance.
