TORONTO, Ontario—50 years ago, on April 17, 1964, an automotive and pop culture icon was born. To celebrate, Ford of Canada and members of the Golden Horseshoe Mustang Association and GTA Mustang Club took an aerial shot of 25 classic Mustangs forming a ’50’ at Ontario Place in Toronto.

Simultaneously, more than 100 additional Mustangs participated in a vintage car show at the same location.

Details of additional Mustang 50th birthday celebrations can be found on Ford’s site and on the Mustang Club of America website.
