2015 Subaru WRX pricing unveiled

Performance sedans to start under $30k

TORONTO—Subaru Canada, Inc announced pricing for the all-new 2015 Subaru WRX and WRX STI today at the Canadian International Auto Show.

The entry model of the 2015 Subaru WRX with manual transmission is now available at $29,995, while the 2015 Subaru WRX STI now starts at $37,995. Both will now be available in three trim levels.

The 2015 Subaru WRX and WRX STI are performance sedans. For the WRX, a brand new 4-cylinder, direct injection turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine offers 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Now equipped with a new 6-speed manual transmission or optional Sport Lineartronic, the new WRX also features a new torque-vectoring system that works with the standard symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive and stiffer chassis to deliver stability and confidence in high-speed cornering and handling.

Subaru’s global performance flagship model, the 2015 WRX STI, also offers a stiffer chassis for even greater handling agility and precision. Handling is further enhanced with firmer springs and quicker steering response (13.3:1 ratio) for unsurpassed control. The performance enhancements are intended  to take full advantage of the car’s 305 horsepower. it is available only with a manual transmission.

The all-new 2015 Subaru WRX and WRX STI will be available this spring at Canadian dealerships.
