NAFA strategic fleet planning education session offers look at technology and telematics changes
PRINCETON, NJ—This year, NAFA’s annual conference, the Institute & Expo (I&E) in Austin, Texas, April 19-22, features a full roster of education sessions including the standout session Fleet 2025—Strategic Fleet Planning.
Organizations may not know what the future will bring but fleet managers need to make educated guesses, says NAFA. Strategic fleet planning is increasingly critical for fleet managers as proper planning today will help prepare for and position organizations and their fleets for long-term success. Hover craft, driverless vehicles, electric roads—the vehicles, technology, and systems of tomorrow will be vastly different from those that are in place today.
“The fleet profession is constantly changing, just as the automotive world changes. The technology changes, the best practices adapt, fuel types and availability remain imperative and volatile topics, and NAFA’s I&E is positioned to bring attendees up-to-speed on all of it,” said NAFA CEO Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “The I&E’s reputation as ‘the event of the year for fleet professionals’ is solidly backed by what’s now and what’s next in fleet.”
Fleet 2025—Strategic Planning will be held April 19. Attendees will learn what they should be doing today to prepare for tomorrow, how technology will change fleet management over the next 10 years, and how to leverage telematics as they morph from optional to standard.
“NAFA is confident that attendees will be impressed by what they find at this year’s conference,” SAID Russo. “And, what’s more, they will be bringing this transformative information back to their organizations to make substantive changes and improvements.”
