CHICAGO—Construction reports provider BidClerk has expanded its North American coverage of commercial construction projects into Canada. BidClerk is now reporting on thousands of Canadian projects every month, the company said, adding to their existing database of U.S. projects. BidClerk’s vast database of company and contact information now allows manufacturers, contractors, and distributors to reach out to thousands of construction professionals in Canada.

“We have worked hard to gain our reputation as the leading construction data provider in the United States,” says Scott Waterbury, BidClerk’s COO. “We are now excited to offer essential information on Canadian projects for construction professionals throughout North America.”

BidClerk has experienced unprecedented growth in it’s core product, BidClerk Enterprise. This subscription level gives building product manufacturers and distributors access to contact information, construction documents, and project details on all North American construction projects. BidClerk Enterprise users can search critical job contacts and addendum documents by keywords, as well as search more than 80,000 projects with plans and specifications (60 percent more than the number offered by the nearest competitor).

BidClerk Enterprise data can be exported in XML, CSV or XLS and delivered daily to an FTP site for import into your CRM system, such as SalesForce.com. Of the 275,000 contacts in BidClerk’s database, BidClerk Enterprise users can connect directly to more than 100,000 project contacts using LinkedIn profiles.
