Shaw Tracking gains new customer

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO: Hensall District Cooperative Inc. is equipping 70 of their trucks with the Shaw Tracking Mobile Computing Platform (MCP) 200.

Hensall District Cooperative Inc. (HDC) will be using Shaw Tracking technology to help with Automated Hours of Service compliance. The technology will be integrated into current software and work with dispatch systems to improve operational processes. Additionally, HDC would like to continue improving driver safety by monitoring habits through Performance Monitoring, Critical Event Reporting and Speedgauge applications. In the future, HDC will also implement Shaw Tracking Navigo navigation system in the fleet to reduce out-of-route miles, save fuel and become more efficient.

HDC is a member-owned Co-op in Southwestern Ontario transporting petroleum, propane, feed, bulk grain and agricultural products. HDC also has its own freight forwarding division, Hensall Global Logistics. The company fleet travels over five million kilometres annually and was looking for a fleet management solution with various features and application options focused on safety and compliance.
