FLEET MANAGEMENT: MARCH/APRIL 2011
One of the most difficult and important parts of a fleet manager’s job is lifecycle cost analysis.
NAFA is now offering a presentation to help fleet managers learn how to implement the use of analytical financial modeling within their vehicle fleets. Available on a flash drive, Lifecycle Cost Analysis for Fleets, is a narrated learning presentation that takes about three hours to review. It includes both Canadian and US examples.
The presentation uses examples of real spreadsheets used by NAFA members. There are examples from a leased corporate fleet; an owned public fleet and a lifecycle cost analysis model for a major construction equipment manufacturer.
According to NAFA, the presentation will help fleet managers make better and more informed decisions by helping them to understand the complexities of lifecycle cost analysis in fleet management.
