Event addresses needs of procurement and supply chain management professionals responsible for meetings, events and business travel spend
TORONTO—PurchasingB2B magazine has launched a website highlighting its Travel Procurement Symposium. This high-level event, held in partnership with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Canada, has been developed specifically to address the needs of Canadian senior procurement and supply chain management professionals with responsibility for their companies’ meetings, events, and business travel spend.
This symposium features up-to-date insights, tools and strategies to optimize travel and meetings spend while aligning procurement with overall business performance. The event brings together buyers and suppliers in the procurement and business travel spaces, and offers both groups the opportunity to network with peers and leading industry experts.
The event will also feature keynote speakers Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod of BodyBreak program fame. From Peggy’s Cove to Lake Louise to San Diego to the Mojave Desert to the Caribbean, their journey has been unpredictable and not always smooth sailing. Also last summer, Hal and Joanne appeared as Team BodyBreak in Season 1 of The Amazing Race Canada.
The hosts of this exciting event are premier providers of travel and meetings supply management resources. PurchasingB2B is Canada’s only magazine for purchasing/procurement professionals within the private and public sectors. GBTA is the world’s largest business travel and corporate meetings organization, a pioneer of the practice of Strategic Meetings Management, business travel industry advocate and global network of over 17,000 people who manage over $340 billion of global business travel and meetings expenditures annually.
Delegate registration opens May, and PurchasingB2B readers will be notified when registration becomes available. Speaker and sponsorship opportunities are available now! Click here to visit the site.
