TORONTO: Those with their SCMP designation from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) who apply by May 31 for the reciprocal US designation can have their applications processed as rush service at no extra charge.
The US-based Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said those applying for the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation won’t have to wait the standard four-to-six weeks for their applications to be processed.
The ISM, PMAC and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) in the UK recently signed agreements to provide reciprocity between each organization’s globally recognized professional designations.
To apply to obtain the CPSM designation, fill out the application and submit it to the ISM along with the application fee to:
