Jericho, NY – Purolator International, a subsidiary of Canada-based Purolator Inc, is expanding its presence in the US.

The company announced last week that it is opening 10 new branch offices during the rest of this year. The openings will effectively double the company’s presence.

The company has already opened seven of those offices in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinatti, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and San Francisco.

By the end of this year, the company plans to open offices in Houston, Miami and Milwaukee as well. The new offices will

give the company a presence in 18 of the top 20 US markets for trade with Canada.

Purolator says US businesses are increasingly looking to Canada as a source of new customers and economic opportunity. The new offices will enable that movement and investment.

Exports to Canada from the US totalled more than $250 billion during 2010 and are on track to surpass that amount during 2011. In total more than $1 billion in goods cross the US/Canada border each day.
