LONDON: Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems has won two supplier performance awards from Canada’s civil air navigation services provider, NAV CANADA.
The awards were given to the company’s UK and Norway subsidiaries in recognition of their support to NAV CANADA’s operations and air traffic management systems in 2010. Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Europe-based air traffic management systems, has received 11 awards in the 10 years NAV CANADA has been awarding them.
The awards are part of NAV CANADA’s Supplier Recognition Programme, which acknowledges outstanding supplier support. From the 2,000 eligible supplier companies assessed, Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems UK and Norway won two of the nine Supplier Excellence Awards presented.
“For NAV CANADA to recognize us as a key supplier again this year is a truly outstanding achievement,” said Eldar Hauge, managing director of Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems, Norway. “I am very proud of the relationship we have developed over the years.”
The elements assessed as part of the Supplier Performance Management Programme were: responsiveness, quality improvement, ease-of-use, reliability, technology and proficiency/skill set.
Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems, based in Peterborough, UK, and in Oslo and Horten, Norway, supplies communication, navigation and surveillance systems for air-space operations worldwide.
