CivicAction’s Greening Greater Toronto has announced its senior executive volunteers. They are:
• Cameron Fowler, executive vice-president, personal and commercial banking Canada, BMO;
• Eva Ligeti, executive director, Clean Air Partnership; and
• Linda Mantia, head of enterprise services and chief procurement officer, RBC.

Ligeti, a founding co-chair of Greening Greater Toronto, will continue to provide strategic and technical guidance, the organization said. Fowler and Mantia—already active within Greening Greater Toronto—will replace outgoing co-chairs Mike Pedersen of TD Bank Group and Kilian Berz from The Boston Consulting Group.

On greening purchasing practices, Greening Greater Toronto is moving from a driving role to a more supportive role in encouraging collaboration and action, the organization said.

“BMO is very proud of our association with Greening Greater Toronto, particularly as a founding investor in the Greening Canada Fund,” said Cam Fowler. “BMO is deeply invested in the success of the Toronto region, and we measure our contribution to it against the triple bottom line of financial, social and environmental performance.”

Fowler and Mantia will continue in their roles on Greening Greater Toronto initiatives: Mantia as co-chair of the Commercial Building Energy Initiative and Fowler as chair of the Greening Canada Fund’s advisory council. b2b
