US$675 million transaction includes options on 10 more aircraft

TORONTO: Bombardier Aerospace has signed a firm order to sell 10 of its CS300 airliners to Korean Air. The deal is worth US$675 million. The two companies had signed a letter of intent during the Paris Air Show in June following several months of negotiations.
The transaction also includes options on 10 more CS300 aircraft and purchase rights for an additional 10.Financial details were not disclosed. The Korean Air transaction increases firm orders for the CSeries family of airliners to 133 aircraft with several airliners. These customers have also taken 119 options and 10 purchase rights on CSeries jetliners.
