EXTON, PA: Supply chain integration and optimization network Elemica has opened its network to Japanese companies affected by that country’s earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis. For the next six months, Elemica will provide free access to its QuickLink portal to any buyer or seller in Japan wanting to transact across the Elemica network.
Damaged infrastructure, power outages, plant, warehouse and transportation destruction has left companies struggling to keep business running as supply chains are severely disrupted. Elemica said its network provides the continuous service and visibility companies need to respond to supply chain disruptions.
“We are deeply saddened by the recent disasters and offer our thoughts and prayers to our employees and clients in the region, and to all people of Japan,” said Mike McGuigan, CEO of Elemica. “We are sensitive to business relationships that must continue in this unstable environment and hope our offer will ease these current challenges.”
