Company lands Diamond Supplier Award at Lenovo's 2012 Global Supplier Conference

VANCOUVER: Absolute Software, a provider of firmware-embedded endpoint security and management solutions, has won the 2012 Lenovo Diamond Supplier Award, the highest award given to Lenovo worldwide suppliers and partners. The Diamond Award is presented annually to one of Toronto-based tech firm Lenovo’s partners.
“The past year has seen some significant milestones in our partnership with Lenovo, including the announcement of Computrace persistence for the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet, the first Android tablet in the world with Computrace persistence embedded in the firmware,” said Abigail Maines, vice-president of Channel Strategy, Absolute Software. “We are honored to be the recipient of the Lenovo 2012 Diamond Supplier Award, and look forward to many more collaborative achievements in our partnership with Lenovo.”
Since 2005 Absolute Software has partnered with Lenovo to provide solutions to meet the security needs of both enterprise and consumer customers. Lenovo computers and ThinkPad tablets are built with Absolute Software’s Computrace embedded in the firmware, allowing Lenovo customers to manage, track, and secure their devices.
